The 5 Mile Run

For over 20 years, runners have told us this is the most fun they have had on any course.  Flat and fast in the beginning, shady rolling hills in the middle, and mild home stretch give our runners a bit of everything.

The Fun Run

We give the little ones a chance to cross the real finish line and feel thrill of the race in our Kid’s Fun Run.

Our race starts and ends at the Newington Old Town Hall, where the whole family can enjoy a post race cook-out, music, and treats from local food trucks.

The Fox Point 5 Mile Road Race is the primary fundraiser for the Newington School Supporters.  Every year, all funds raised from your participation and our sponsors directly benefit the students of the Newington Public School. 

The Race

Held in September, our 5 mile race begins and ends at the Newington Old Town Hall and transits through our beautiful village. The Kid’s Fun Run gives our younger participants a chance to experience the thrill of the race by crossing the real finish line!
